The North East Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and delivery of public health services within the parishes of St. Ann, St. Mary and Portland, is seeking a dynamic, proactive, experienced and analytical individual with strong team building skills to fill the position of Dental Surgeon for the St. Ann Health Department. Reporting to the Consultant Dental Surgeon. The incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of professional dental services and preventative dental care in a community health centre setting. In accordance with the Government’s policies, regulations/legal requirements and guidelines the dental surgeon will ensure continuous improvements in the quality of care in the delivery of these health services. Salary Range: 💰 $6,799,334 – $8,082,271 JMD per annum.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Imaging Practitioner, the incumbent will be responsible for performing activities associated with delivery of diagnostic radiography services within a specified radiology facility. Reporting to the Chief Public Health Inspector, the incumbent is responsible for managing and promoting the sanitation status of food handling establishments within the community as well as ensuring compliance with public health laws and regulations. The Public Health Inspector has the authority to enforce the Public Health Act and its Regulations, serving notices an instituting prosecutions to enforce the law as required. Salary Range: 💰 $3,759,184 – $4,468,488 JMD per annum.
