
Sales Trainer & Business Development Consultant
Summary
The Sales Trainer & Business Development Consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering customized sales training programs, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth through innovative training solutions and sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- • Training Program Development: Collaborate with clients to assess their training needs and develop customized sales training programs tailored to their industry, products, and goals.
- • Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, covering a range of sales and sales management competencies and skills.
- • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments to measure the effectiveness of the programs and identify areas for improvement.
- • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor, and providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure the success of their sales teams.
- • Sales Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to sales professionals, offering feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills and achieve their sales goals.
- • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- • Sales Training Materials: Develop and update training materials, resources, and tools to ensure they reflect the latest industry trends and best practices.
- • New Ventures: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts. A sales trainer must be able to sell and not be limited to theory.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role within a sales training organization.
- • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, processes, and best practices.
- • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients.
- • Outstanding coaching and mentoring abilities.
- • Proficiency in using sales-related software and tools.
- • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
- • Must be available to travel when necessary.
Advantageous Qualifications:
- • Sales certification or training accreditation.
- • Experience at successfully managing a sales team.
- • Familiarity with adult learning principles.
- • Knowledge of various industries and sales challenges.
