Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Veta Virtual, you will take on a pivotal role in ensuring financial precision and supporting strategic planning. You will be in charge of:

• Accounting (50%):

  • • Perform daily accounting tasks, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • • Collaborate with leadership to maintain and refine budgeting and forecasting records.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting (50%):

  • • Conduct financial modeling and analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • • Generate and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance reports.
  • • Assist in forecasting financial trends and planning for growth.
  • • Leverage data to create insightful business intelligence reports.

• Daily Tasks:

  • • Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • • Prepare detailed financial statements and reports periodically.
  • • Monitor budgets and forecasts to identify variances.
  • • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and growth.
  • • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of financial insights into strategic planning.

• Skills & Qualifications:

  • • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
  • • 1-5 years of experience in accounting or finance; exceptional fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • • Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet functions (e.g., Excel) – a must!
  • • Familiarity with SQL queries for data analysis – a strong plus.
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset – a must!
  • • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
