Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is essential in facilitating the movement of goods and materials through the supply chain. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing logistical operations to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. The Coordinator helps to maintain efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of logistics management.

Responsibilities
- • Plan and coordinate all logistics activities such as transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to establish efficient transportation routes and schedules that optimize cost and service.
- • Monitor shipments in transit, keeping track of inventory levels and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
- • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics operations, including shipping manifests, customs declarations, and compliance paperwork.
- • Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- • Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that incoming and outgoing products are managed effectively, and that inventory accuracy is maintained.
- • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements.
- • Provide timely and accurate reports on logistics performance metrics and recommend strategies for improvement.
- • Stay informed of industry trends and regulations to ensure that logistics operations remain compliant and competitive.
- • Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics and supply chain function.
Required Skills
- • Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
- • Proficient in logistics software and warehouse management systems.
- • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and customs procedures is an asset.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- • At least 2-4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
