
Attendant - Food Service Management (Sessional)
Summary
Provide service for meetings by preparing and serving refreshments, sanitizing and cleaning utensils and tableware. Organize meeting rooms, boardrooms and auditorium and other offsite venues in preparation for meetings. **May need to occasionally work outside of normal business hours, offsite and occasionally on weekends. **
Responsibilities
- • Prepare coffee, tea and refreshments and be prepared and available to serve meetings, clients and team members by the times stipulated.
- • Ensure that there are adequate supplies in stock for coffee break at all times.
- • Ensure there are sufficient disposable items to serve coffee and tea and to be used during the lunch period and throughout the day.
- • Ensure lunches are on time and plated in an orderly manner.
- • Ensure the lunchroom, boardroom and coffee stations are sanitary and in a neat condition by the times stipulated.
- • Ensure all utensils are washed and properly secured, and all appliances are kept clean and sanitary.
- • Ensure kitchen cupboards are kept neat and all the necessary repairs reported immediately.
- • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
Required Skills
- • A minimum of Six (6) GCE O’Level/CXC subjects or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- • Minimum of two (2) years’ working experience as an Office Attendant.
Qualifications
- • Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE “O” level subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
- • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- • Excellent human relations and time management skills.
- • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
