GTAM Operations Associate – Sigma

Summary

Provide support to Client Relationship Officers for all branches, particularly for the processing of redemption for Units from Sigma Global Unit Trust. Provide audit confirmation to both internal and external clients while monitoring the Sigma bank accounts.

Responsibilities

• • Promote quality service standards by observing and delivering consistent quality service in compliance with service level agreements.
• • Process redemptions submitted by Client Service Representative.
• • Prepare and provide audit confirmation to internal and external client upon request.
• • Monitor all Sigma Individual accounts along with the relevant General Ledger Accounts to ensure they are reconciled daily.
• • Process all Standing Orders as per client request.
• • Provide holding reports to Citibank.
• • File SIGMA transaction forms and retrieve transaction documents to address audit and compliance requests.
• • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills

• • Successful completion of the Jamaican Securities Course would be an asset.
• • Proficiency in using computer software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite and, in particular, Microsoft Excel.
• • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• • Ability to work independently, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• • Strong team orientation and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• • Associate degree Finance, Management Studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• • Minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in a Financial Institution.
