Network Administrator
Summary
The Network Administrator ensures the organization maintains best practices concerning securing company data. Providing strategies to be implemented to improve the existing network security and methods to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
- • Monitor network and systems for suspicious activity.
- • Investigate and respond to security incidents.
- • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
- • Recommend, implement, and manage security solutions to improve existing network security.
- • Regular in-person and formalized reporting on vulnerabilities, incidents, and risk assessments.
- • Conduct regular internal vulnerability analysis to identify potential weaknesses and assess the impact of those weaknesses on networks, systems, and applications.
- • Develop mitigation strategies to remediate or mitigate the risks identified.
- • Work with IT teams and management to address security concerns.
- • Synchronize duties with MSP to complement security strategies and ensure robust protection.
- • Coordinate with DPO to maintain compliance with Jamaica's Data Protection Act.
- • Staying updated on the latest threats, trends, and technologies.
- • Apply patches and updates to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant
- • At least Two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
- • Excellent interpersonal and team skills, extremely collegial
- • Dependable and trustworthy.
- • Outstanding communications skills, written and oral
- • Demonstrates flexibility
- • Show enthusiasm with the customer
- • Values diversity of thought, backgrounds and perspectives
- • Ability to multitask while maintaining vigilant attention to detail
