Research Clerk
Summary
The Research Clerk will be responsible for the efficient collection, entry, and analysis of data, maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and collaborating with the team to ensure data accuracy and identify trends to support farm operations.

Responsibilities
- • To ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day collection, entry and analysis of data to support the farms operations.
- • Develop and maintain records of research activities, accurate information databases and prepare periodic reports, as required.
- • The individual should not only provide management support, but contribute to a team effort dedicated to adding value to the organization
Create and maintain accurate electronic and physical databases for all animals related activities to include:
- • Daily Cattle records, ✅Farm statistics, ✅Milk statements
- • Review data received from farm for correctness, gaps and inconsistencies and investigate errors to ensure validity of data.
- • Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Officer, Farms Supervisors, Dairy Comp Analyst and General Manager to reconcile data ensuring accuracy across all platforms.
- • Generate reports in keeping with prescribed guidelines to include reports on stillbirths, Mortality, milk supplied, SIFL Production.
- • Ensure the accurate entry of data into INFOR to facilitate payments to eternal suppliers.
- • Analyse data and report on alarming trends and outlying data to management. Identify correlations between feed usage/changes and production data in collaboration with analytics team.
- • Participate in housekeeping, food safety, and general safety initiatives as required by the Company.
- • Perform any other related duties consistent with the position as required by management.
- • Early and late work may be necessary as work dictates. This includes weekdays, weekends and or holidays

Qualifications
- • Diploma in Business Administration/with secretarial qualifications/office management systems and procedures
- • Minimum of four (4) CXC or GCE passes including, Information Technology, Mathematics and English Language
- • Data entry experience or related office procedure, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- • Accurate keyboard skills.
- • Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Permit.
- • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines and stay within budget.
