Butler Manager
Summary
As a Butler Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the organization to ensure smooth operations and satisfactory experiences for guests. This role requires sound decision-making skills, excellent resource management, and a strong commitment to organizational plans and goals.
Responsibilities
- • Oversee daily operations of the lodging department, ensuring that all guest needs are met and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
- • Develop and implement department policies, procedures, and standards to maintain and improve guest satisfaction.
- • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
- • Evaluate performance of team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed to improve their skills and ensure guest satisfaction.
- • Monitor and control expenses, identifying opportunities to optimize financial performance and resource utilization.
- • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary to maintain quality accommodations and services.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into departmental operations as appropriate.
- • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
- • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certifications:
- • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA)
- • Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS)
- • Additional certifications may be required or preferred
Work Experience:
- • Manages service, support, or professional associates and/or supervisors
- • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- • Decisions guided by policy, resources and business plan
- • Receives moderate guidance
- • Has 5 to 7 years of work experience
- • Has at least 3 years of management experience
