Summary

The primary function of an Executive Driver is to provide transportation for passengers from one location to another. The Executive Driver should showcase in his or her resume safe driving abilities, customer focus, navigation skills, effective communication, time management, alertness, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

In order to ensure the satisfaction of their passengers, Executive Drivers need to drive safely, provide a comfortable in-car environment and make their way from place to place as efficiently as possible.

  • Navigate - An essential component of an Executive Driver’s job is making it to their destinations while minimizing wrong turns or poor traffic conditions. To ensure this, Executive Drivers must always be planning routes, taking notes of possible detours and monitoring traffic severity. Use appropriate evasive and/or defensive driving tactics as necessary in order to safeguard passengers. An Executive Driver needs to put in thought, effort and research to ensure that the ride is as smooth as possible and as swift as possible.
  • Provide Customer Service- A Executive Driver’s demeanor can either make or break his or her reputation with your passenger. This means that even on stressful days when you’ve been working long hours or dealing with bad weather you’ll need to interact politely and pleasantly with your passenger. Depending on the passenger, they may prefer not to engage in conversation at all, but even then, it is important to maintain composure and be respectful and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain Vehicle- An Executive Driver is responsible for making sure that both the inside and outside of the car are always clean and aesthetically appealing. This can involve polishing the exterior, wiping down the interior surfaces or regularly spritzing air freshener in between trips, As well as to follow the sanitization protocol for Covid-19 such as having sanitizers for all passengers and that vehicle is disinfected after each trip.
  • Security- The responsibility of the Executive driver is to safeguard the life of his/her passenger and ensure there is little to no damages to the Vehicle. In addition, a strong background in security helps his/her passenger to avoid situations that may harm the life of the passenger or deter the passenger’s business.

  • Valid Driver’s Licenses.
  • Thorough understanding of road regulations.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Neatly presented, confidential and professional.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Communicates well.
  • Ability to work as required.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in chauffeur driving/Close .
  • Experience in Customer Service.
  • Security Background
