Marketing Officer

Summary

Work closely with Marketing Managers to develop and implement marketing plans for the subsidiaries of Sagicor Group Jamaica that will serve to drive profitable business and improve brand equity in line with the companies’ strategic objectives. Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is always maintained.

Responsibilities

• • Work alongside Marketing Managers to develop annual marketing communication plans.
• • Work closely with subsidiaries to identify and capitalize on profitable opportunities.
• • Manage marketing spend within agreed limits.
• • Liaise with internal graphic artist and advertising agency to develop and/ or refresh advertising campaigns across all media.
• • Assist with the planning and execution of events, sponsorships or promotions.
• • Assist in monitoring market trends and report on competitor activity.
• • Assist in the production of client testimonial videos.
• • Act as direct branch, sub agent, Liaison Officer, ensuring branches and sub agents have adequate product collateral.
• • Ensure campaigns are promoted in the branches on a timely basis.
• • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
• • Minimum of two (2) years working experience in Marketing, Communications or related field including experience in successfully executing marketing communications activities.
