Summary
The Medical Representative’s primary responsibility is to detail and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and medical practitioners. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, providing information on product features, and achieving sales targets. This position requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical products, effective communication skills, and the ability to stay informed about industry trends.
Responsibilities
- • Effectively detail pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals through presentations, demonstrations, and one-on-one interactions.
- • Showcase the benefits and features of products, emphasizing their medical value.
- • Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
- • Provide personalized support and information to meet the needs of individual practitioners.
- • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- • Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities and challenges.
- • Set and achieve sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
- • Develop and implement strategies to maximize product sales and market penetration.
- • Educate healthcare professionals on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of pharmaceutical products.
- • Address any questions or concerns raised by healthcare practitioners.
- • Plan and conduct CMEs for Doctors and Pharmacists
- • Gather feedback from healthcare professionals regarding product performance and market needs.
- • Communicate customer feedback to the marketing and other relevant teams.
- • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

Qualifications
