Contracts Assistant
Summary
Perform clerical tasks specific to the preparation and dispatch of policy contracts.
Responsibilities
Process and dispatch policy contracts including the updating of the system within the stipulated time frames and guidelines:
- • Link and dispatch ordinary life/ coupon policy contracts.
- • Update the relevant systems with the client/ policy information within the stipulated time frames and guidelines.
- • Ensure the completion of administrative processes on an ongoing basis consistent with agreed standards.
- • Prepare and update reports ensuring accuracy of information and agreed standards are maintained.
- • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Required Skills
- • Basic knowledge of life insurance operations.
- • Effective communication skills.
- • Sound knowledge of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- • Good time management and human relations skills.
- • Ability to work well under pressure.
Qualifications
- • Minimum of six (6) subjects at the CSEC or GCE level, including English Language and Mathematics.
- • Successful completion of the LOMA Parts 1 and 2 designations.
- • At least two (2) years’ working experience, one (1) year of which must be in the insurance industry.
