Summary

The Senior Marketing & Communications Officer plays a senior supervisory role in driving the execution of marketing and communications initiatives that elevate First Global Bank’s brand, engage key audiences, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is responsible for marketing operations, campaign effectiveness, content strategy, and cross-functional alignment, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and innovation across every customer and stakeholder touchpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:

    • • Develop and implement integrated marketing plans that align with FGB’s strategic goals, delivering on customer acquisition, brand visibility, and market share growth.
    • • Lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns across digital, traditional, and direct media.
    • • Ensure campaign objectives are clearly defined, performance is tracked, and ROI is maximized.
  • Communications Management:

    • • Manage the development of brand and product messaging, ensuring alignment with the bank’s tone of voice and positioning.
    • • Oversee all internal and external communications including executive messaging, announcements, internal staff engagement, and external stakeholder relations.
    • • Collaborate with PR agencies, media partners, and internal teams to maintain and protect FGB’s reputation.
  • Content Strategy & Brand Consistency:

    • • Lead the development and implementation of a robust content strategy that spans digital, social, and owned platforms.
    • • Ensure storytelling is compelling, customer-focused, and optimized for performance across channels.
    • • Champion content governance to maintain brand consistency and quality standards across all formats.
  • Digital Marketing & Performance:

    • • Support digital campaign execution including SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid media, and influencer partnerships.
    • • Monitor and report on key digital metrics and make recommendations for campaign optimization and content improvements.
    • • Ensure digital assets and platforms reflect FGB’s strategic priorities and customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • • Work closely with Product, CX, Operations, Retail, and Business teams to ensure campaigns are aligned to business goals and timelines.
    • • Assist the Head of Customer Experience & Marketing in partnering with internal departments to translating business needs into impactful marketing and communication deliverables.
    • • Support corporate and customer-facing projects as required, providing brand and marketing leadership.
  • Leadership & Team Oversight:

    • • Mentor junior marketing staff, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery.
  • Budget & Operational Efficiency:

    • • Support the management of the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business impact.
    • • Streamline marketing operations, implement best practices, and champion continuous improvement in marketing workflow and execution.

Required Skills

  • • Strong expertise in digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, and communications.
  • • Strong experience representing brands in corporate relations including delivering corporate social responsibility activities.
  • • Proven experience in the financial services sector is a strong asset.
  • • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • • Data-driven, results-oriented, and performance-minded.
  • • Work collaboratively across all levels and departments to meet strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications/Journalism, Business or a related field.
  • • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing/communications, corporate relations and content development.
