Video Editor

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for high-quality video production, be capable of maintaining professional standards, and ensure all work is thoroughly proofread before publishing. This role requires someone who can produce engaging content quickly and efficiently, working with both long-form and short-form video projects. This is a flexible position with the opportunity to work asynchronously, but the candidate must be available for some overlap with the team’s schedule. Full-Time (40 hours per week) or Part-Time (20 hours per week). Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday. Preferred working hours: 8 AM – 4 PM CST (some overlap required).

Responsibilities

• • Edit and produce high-quality long-form and short-form video content based on provided references and creative direction.
• • Ensure all video content is proofread and polished before finalizing.
• • Maintain brand consistency and video quality across all projects.
• • Work closely with the team to align on project objectives and creative direction.
• • Meet tight deadlines while delivering professional-grade content.
• • Adapt and refine content to match the style and expectations outlined in the provided examples.
• • Produce at least 4 high-quality reels per day.

Required Skills

• • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• • Experience with social media content, particularly Instagram Reels.
• • Understanding of video storytelling techniques.

Qualifications

• • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing.
• • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• • Must have access to professional video editing software (additional tools may be provided if required).
• • Must present a portfolio showcasing video editing capabilities.

• Language Requirements:

  • • C1 level English proficiency (must be able to proofread and ensure grammatical accuracy).
