
Chief Of Staff
Summary
The Chief of Staff supports the Group Chief Executive Officer (Group CEO) and oversees the operations of the Group CEO's Office by coordinating administrative activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. The Chief of Staff works in close partnership with Senior Executives across the Group and Heads of Subsidiaries to drive the timely and successful achievement of key strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- • Provide secretarial, administrative, and operational support to the Group CEO inclusive of preparation of high-level presentations, memos, and reports which are of a strategic or specialized nature.
- • Assist the Group CEO in developing strategic and operational plans by providing data analytics, research material, and industry insights.
- • From time-to-time conduct research and maintain a database of key data to support strategic plans and policy frameworks as directed by the Group CEO.
- • Coordinate effective external communication regarding press releases and other relevant material to be disseminated to the public through the media and other channels.
- • Support the Group CEO with performance management functions of Direct Reports.
- • Organize and schedule meetings, events, calls, visits, conferences, and appointments for the Group CEO as well as to confirm reservations and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.
- • Prepare meeting agendas, record action items & minutes of management meetings, and disseminate to participants in a timely manner.
- • Support the Group CEO with the preparation of speeches; attendance at events locally and overseas to ensure that the brand of the organization is well represented.
- • Coordinate effective communication between the Group CEO, senior leadership across the Group, and stakeholders.
- • Collaborate with the Corporate Secretary by coordinating activities required for scheduling and successful execution of all Board meetings.
- • Assist with the monthly preparation of the CEO's report by compiling various reports submitted by members of the Executive Management team.
- • Implement systems and processes to streamline information flow to and from the CEO's office in order to ensure smooth operations.
- • Proactively monitor and track the progress of key initiatives, keeping the Group CEO informed with regular updates.
- • Proactively resolve critical issues and challenges by identifying and implementing effective solutions.
Required Skills
- • Proven track record of success in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
- • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- • Experience in data analysis and budget management.
- • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- • Exceptional proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, and other presentation software.
- • An aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- • Experience within the auto rentals or ground transportation industry is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in a senior leadership or strategic role, preferably within a corporate environment.
