KPMG in Caricom invites talented, highly motivated accounting students/graduates to come and thrive with us in our 2025 Internship Programme. This internship links classroom learning and real-life applications. This is a learning experience facilitated by collaborative team members that help students achieve personal and professional growth and competitive advantage in the global workforce. The main priority of the internship experience is to provide students with a professional learning experience in which they gain new knowledge by performing tasks, working on projects, completing other on-the-job learning experiences in a professional work environment, and through mentoring. Internships provide students with the opportunity to test a tentative career choice. THIS IS AN UNDERGRADUATE/GRADUATE LEVEL POSITION

Required Skills

  • • The ideal candidate is pursuing studies towards graduating from university or have recently graduated.
  • The successful candidates will have some or all the following characteristics:

    • • Minimum GPA score of 3.0 from a recognized university.
    • • Minimum Grade II in CXC English Language or equivalent
    • • Willingness to aggressively work towards related professional qualification.
    • • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • • Strong interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.
    • • Flexible and willing to travel.
    • • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
    • • Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) from an accredited college/university or any other related field.
  • • Minimum of three years human resources experience required; with a minimum of two years corporate recruiting.
  • • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and online collaboration tools (SharePoint/Teams)
  • • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
  • • Working knowledge of HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • • Experience in the Global Services / BPO sector a plus
  • • Strong leadership ability is required.

  • Special conditions associated with the job:

    • • Required to work beyond normal working hours, when necessary.
    • • May be required to work in other parishes for short stints.
    • • Exposure to confidential information.
    • • High level of integrity and confidentiality is required.
    • • Required to work to set deadlines.
