This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting who can also manage administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Financial Support:

    • • Perform daily account reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies.
    • • Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate benefits balances.
    • • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoice processing and collections.
    • • Track and categorize business expenses while maintaining financial records.
    • • Prepare financial reports and assist with audits and tax-related documentation.
    • • Record and review payments, ensuring accuracy in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Administrative Support:

    • • Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
    • • Answer phone calls, manage emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts.
    • • Assist with travel arrangements, office supply inventory, and other operational tasks.
    • • Support management with data entry, document preparation, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar finance-related role.
  • Education:

    • • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills:

    • • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Detail-Oriented:

    • • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to analyze financial data.
  • Organized & Proactive:

    • • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality:

    • • Experience handling sensitive financial information with discretion.
  • Communication:

    • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
