Warehouse Attendant

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the seamless processing of shipments both receiving and dispatching loading. The Warehouse Attendant role requires accuracy and efficiency when handing products. Must reside within the Clarendon/Old Harbour Vicinity

Responsibilities

• • Offloading and loading of products to and from trucks and containers.
• • Scanning the returned items, remove them from the truck and pack them appropriately for storage.
• • Participating in audits by documenting and counting products.
• • Picking products to ensure that the product needed for loading are met based on the goods available in the warehouse.
• • Packing, shrink wrapping, and labelling products as needed.
• • Reworking and relabeling of products.
• • Weighing cases in need of weight verification.
• • Completing necessary documentation as required and
• • Maintaining organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• • Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• • Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role.
• • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• • Basic mathematical skills.
• • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
