Visibility Merchandiser (Indirect Trade – CP)

Summary

The candidate is responsible for the visibility of the brands distributed by Colgate-Palmolive in the indirect trade. This entails having the right assortment of products, display placement and instore and outdoor branding to achieve high visibility of the brands.

Responsibilities

• • Prices goods and stack shelves as soon as deliveries are received in outlets, or within 12-48 hours of delivery
• • Monitors outlets to ensure that the CPs products are free from dust, and are attractively arranged, at all times. Ensures that the products are rotated -“First In, First Out”, and that outdated and damaged products are removed from the shelves promptly.
• • Implements planograms and pricing in accordance to stated guidelines
• • Secures additional facings for new products, as may be necessary from time-to-time.
• • Works closely with Supervisor and reports on out-of-stock products.
• • Utilizes POP materials for all CP brands, install slot walls and display units and maintain same in all outlets.
• • Sets up appropriate off-shelf displays, as may be necessary from time-to-time.
• • Identifies competitive activities and reports to Supervisor/Manager.
• • Attends meetings as determined by the Company.
• • Completes daily report forms and submits to Supervisor on a bi-weekly basis as may be determined.

Required Skills

• • Good verbal and written communication skills.
• • Strong organizational skills.
• • Ability to express creativity on the job.
• • Possess a valid driver’s license; own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.

Qualifications

• • Five (5) CSEC subjects, including English Language and a numeric subject
• • Minimum of one (1) year’s working experience in a similar or related capacity.
• • Good interpersonal skills.
