Remote Sales Support Representative

Summary

Our client sells plumbing for ships. They distribute valves, pipe, and fittings to vessels across the world, but specialize in supplying U.S. military ships. They pride themselves on speed, empathy, and hard work. The Sales Support Representative provides critical support to the inside sales team. A successful SSR will enable their teammates to submit accurate quotes in a timely manner by entering customer requests into the Company ERP. The SSR will be relied upon to interpret very specific customer requirements accurately and quickly. Salary: $1,200 USD/month Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm PST

Responsibilities

• • Assist sales teammates in their efforts to provide accurate, well-priced quotes to customers

• Data entry:

  • • Prepare Sales Quotations for teammates to price and source by converting customer-requested part descriptions into Company part numbers.
  • • Maintain 98% accuracy on prepped Sales Quotation line items
  • • Enter vendor quotes into the Company database.
  • • Enter customer data into the Company database/CRM.
• • Communicate with teammates to ensure accuracy and establish priorities.
• • Communicate with vendors to check on order status.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • • Fluent English reading, writing, speaking
  • • Professional email writing
  • • 3 years experience in Data Entry or equivalent
  • • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Lookups, and other dynamic functionality
  • • Have an obsession with accuracy and attention to detail
  • • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and produce at a high level
  • • Positive attitude and ability to improve based on feedback
  • • Reliable computer with consistent high-speed internet

• Preferred:

  • • Sales experience
  • • Have multiple computer screens to work on
