Summary

As an IT Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, directing, and coordinating activities in electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Your expertise will guide the growth and development of the IT Services team while ensuring the successful implementation of IT projects and services.

Responsibilities

  • • Assist in developing strategic IT Service plans and roadmaps, addressing the needs and goals of the company.
  • • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the IT service, support, and technician teams, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for service improvements, system enhancements, and process optimizations.
  • • Analyze the performance of IT services, identify trends and patterns, and develop strategies for improvement.
  • • Establish, implement, and maintain IT service management processes and procedures based on industry best practices.
  • • Coordinate the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all IT systems.
  • • Assist in developing and manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services.
  • • Assist in mentoring and developing IT services team members, fostering a high-performing, innovative, and collaborative environment.
  • • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
    • • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Certifications:

    • • CompTIA A+
    • • CompTIA Network+
    • • CompTIA Security+
    • • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
    • • Additional certifications may be required or preferred
  • Work Experience:

    • • Manages the activities of service, support, or technician teams
    • • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and local business plan
    • • Receives guidance and oversight from higher-level manager
    • • Typically doesn't perform the work supervised
    • • Has 4 to 5 years of work experience
    • • Has at least 2 years of management experience
