Summary

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts. Stay on top of supply orders, records and accounts, menu pricing, and menu planning, all while working within established procedures under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• • Create varied and visually appealing dishes in a timely manner by following established recipes and plating guidelines.
• • Ensure the quality and consistency of meals by maintaining high standards for food preparation, seasoning, and presentation.
• • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food orders, ensuring that dishes are prepared and delivered effectively and efficiently.
• • Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with guidelines.
• • Organize and properly store food items, ingredients, and supplies following established inventory procedures.
• • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
  • • Has 2 to 3 years of work experience
