In-Store Promoter

Summary

Applications are invited from dynamic and self-motivated professionals to fill a vacancy in a well-established agricultural manufacturing and distribution company. Reporting to the Senior Market Development Agronomist, the ideal candidate will be responsible for, among other activities, assisting customers in selecting, stocking, and selling the best products to achieve farmers' objectives, transferring agronomic best practices, and representing the company in trade and in the field. Preferably, the In-Store Promoter should reside in the parish of Manchester.

Responsibilities

• • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and the company's objectives.
• • Analyze customers' reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs.
• • Plan product ranges and SKUs per store, along with TSA (Territory Sales Advisor).
• • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• • Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
• • Participate in in-field demonstrations and farmer training sessions.
• • Work alongside the Agronomist to meet territory training and product knowledge needs.
• • Pass on agronomic best practices to farmers.
• • Produce timely, accurate, and thorough reports.

Required Skills

• • Experience in Agronomy or a related field.
• • Ability to determine viable solutions for customers.
• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• • Willingness to work on public holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• • Associate Degree in General Agriculture or Education.
• • Level Two (2) or Three (3) certification from Ebony Park Academy, Elim Agricultural School, or Knockalva Agricultural School.
• • Secondary Education passes in five (5) CXC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
