Grow and Production Supervisor

Summary

Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a qualified Grow and Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pullet and production farms to ensure maximum productivity. This role supports the Breeder Production and Breeder Grow-out Managers in managing animal health and breeding programs, ensuring proper lighting and uniformity, and enforcing biosecurity protocols and vaccination schedules. The individual will help maintain an effective male management program to achieve high fertility to optimize flock production and coordinate with farm team leads to ensure adherence to operational standards.

Qualifications

• • An Associate Degree in Poultry Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• • Excellent communication (Oral and Written), management and supervisory skills.
• • Basic knowledge of poultry husbandry and poultry diseases.
• • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• • Detail-oriented and possess sound problem solving skills.
• • Ability to impartially assess situations and make recommendations.
• • Ability to work on own initiative and motivate team members.
• • A minimum of three (3) year's work experience in a similar position.
