Production Coordinator
Summary
The Production Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the production lines, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and in compliance with quality standards. The Production Coordinator will schedule production runs, monitor processes, and resolve issues that may arise throughout the manufacturing cycle, all while adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
Responsibilities
- • Assists with the creation and management of production schedules based on demand forecasts, raw material availability and equipment capacity to meet deadlines.
- • Assists with monitoring production processes.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Maintenance, to address operational challenges.
- • Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
- • Prepare and maintain production reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- • Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- • Support the continuous improvement of production processes through data analysis and feedback.
- • Assists with managing the ERP system including investigating deviations.
- • Assists with the execution of Department audits
Required Skills
- • Proficiency in the use of computer software application including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- • Ability to multitask and produce efficient and accurate results.
- • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Operations Management, Pharmacology, Chemistry, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- • Certificate or Diploma in Supervisory Management would be an advantage.
- • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
