Cost Controller - Couples Swept Away
Summary
The Cost Controller reports directly to the Financial Controller. He or She is accountable for the running of the Cost Control and Stores Departments. Proper cost and inventory control is involved at the highest level.
Required Skills
- • General understanding of accounting principles and practices
- • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles
- • Sound knowledge of inventory control management
- • Have working knowledge of Adaco Accounting System would be an asset
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
- • High level of attention to detail
- • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- • Proactive, quick thinking and uses initiative
- • Good work ethics and maintain confidentiality
- • Excellent time management skills and is able to manage stress
- • Possess analytical and problem solving skills
- • Portrays excellent interpersonal communication skills
- • Be able to work flexible hours
- • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities and be able to perform above and beyond the call of duty
Qualifications
- • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or Professional Accounting certification from an accredited institution
- • Experience in similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality environment
- • Valid Food Handler's Permit
