Accounting Officer

Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating invoices and credit memos for all retail customers supplied across all the sales terminals of the company i.e. Kingston Loading Rack (KLR), Montego Bay Loading Rack (MLR) and Jamaica Petroleum Terminal (JPT).

Responsibilities

• Validates sales orders generated by the Terminal Management System for deliveries to retail customers supplied from MLR, KLR, and JPT.
• Updates the SAP SD System with Sales Order information and produces customer invoices.
• Manages the distribution of invoices to customers.
• Computes and reconciles volumetric movement between the Refinery and Loading terminals.
• Prepares E17 Excise forms for custodial transfer of all petroleum products for the purpose of Special Consumption Tax (SCT) and Ad Valorem tax assessment.
• Prepares journal entries and posts them in SAP.
• Prepares monthly import schedules for posting.
• Processes credit memos.
• Conducts monthly stock counts.

• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Accounting
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar capacity

• ACCA Level I
• A minimum of six (6) years' experience in a similar capacity
