Maintenance Technician (Welder)

Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for repairs and maintenance with a focus on (but not limited to) welding.

Responsibilities

• • Complete all assigned welding/fabrication jobs on time
• • Assist with other maintenance activities as required.
• • Perform troubleshooting and installation as required.
• • Practise Good Housekeeping in workshops.
• • Maintain all welding equipment in line with industry safety standards
• • Be actively involved in relevant quality and food safety projects
• • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• • Lead and participate in safety audits as required
• • Use and maintain PPEs in good working condition

Qualifications

• • Diploma in Engineering or HEART Level 3 Engineering Certification
• • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
