Technology Business Analyst
Summary
Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in harnessing digital assets to revolutionize Personal Independence (PI) operations. As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate with PI leadership, external vendors, and diverse technical teams, gaining invaluable experience and insights. This role is essential for leveraging digital assets to enhance the efficiency of Personal Independence (PI) operations. The individual will work closely with PI leadership, external vendors, and various technical teams within the firm to carry out their duties. Reporting primarily to the JESS Risk Management Personal Independence (RMPI) CoE Manager, the individual will also receive guidance from the Client’s Independence team members responsible for the supported work.
Responsibilities
- • Support the definition of business and technical requirements of new solutions.
- • Support the onboarding of brokerage firms to KPMG’s Broker Import Program (e.g., participating in introductory conversations, following up on the execution of agreements, setting up systems and security configurations). Ability to troubleshoot issues with daily data feeds.
- • Assist in generating and documenting plans for rollout of new applications.
- • Compare detail of services invoiced against services provided and approved estimates. Tracking of fiscal year totals against budgets.
- • Assist in periodic reviews of access permissions. Grant/update/revoke access and permissions to applications, mailboxes, shared drives, etc.
- • Run walkthroughs required by internal audit. Coordinate vendors’ participation.
- • Support PI teams to complete privacy assessments of applications they own.
Support to systems/applications:
- • Basic troubleshooting, working with vendors, training, documentation.
- • Support the testing of new versions/releases.

Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
- • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in IT operations, technology implementations, project management, and/or technology-related consulting is preferred.
- • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- • Demonstrated strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- • Proven ability to be detail, deadline, and results oriented. Proven critical thinking and analytical skills.
- • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- • Project management experience is a plus.
Additional Information and Instructions
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
- • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
- • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
