Sessional Merchandising Clerk

Summary

Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance and Pension Revenue team in the capacity of: Sessional Merchandising Clerk (Contract) ✅ Implement inventory control procedures to enhance the effective monitoring and dispatching of items to the correct recipients. ✅ Assist recipients with the collection of items.

Responsibilities

• • Monitor inventory for the end of year period.
• • Perform quality checks on stored inventory and meet delivery (non-corporate) timelines.
• • Update and maintain inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
• • Implement loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
• • Ensure items distributed are in good condition.
• • Distribute inventory items to the intended recipients.
• • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• • Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
• • Minimum of two (2) years working experience as an inventory clerk or a similar role.
• • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• • Working experience in merchandising.
• • Knowledge of latest inventory/ merchandising trends and best practices.
• • Strong people skills with the ability to function under pressure.
