Programme Development Officer (HIV) (HPC/MO 3)

Summary

Reporting to the Director Treatment Care & Support, the Programme Development Officer will provide technical support to the Treatment, Care & Support Component of the Programme in ensuring the effective implementation of the programme activities and contribute to the achievement of the programmes goals and objectives. 💰Salary: $8,921,315 JMD per annum.

Responsibilities

• • Coordinate annual Treatment Care and Support audits to assess service delivery and quality of care
• • Assist in ensuring that the reporting mechanisms requirements relevant to HIV and PrEP are met.
• • Ensure that HIV surveillance data submitted to the unit is collated and analyzed in keeping with reporting requirements.
• • Timely reporting through the summarization and collation of information required for stipulated reports.
• • Monitoring treatment sites for HIV, with regular visits and audits; and analysis of Assist in the development and implementation of all HIV Treatment, Care and Support activities.
• • HIV testing services plans are implemented in accordance with programme guidelines
• • Strengthen programming for HIV and PrEP
• • reports to facilitate programme implementation at the site level.

Qualifications

• • Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School;
• • Master’s in Public Health;
• • A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience or any equivalent combination education, training and experience in the health sector with exposure to sexual and reproductive health;
• • Plus Peer Approval duly signed by relevant personnel;
• • Local experience in public health/primary health care
