Bartender

Summary

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests, directly or through waitstaff. This role demands knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience.

Responsibilities

• • Mix and serve beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
• • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current drink trends and cocktail recipes.
• • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
• • Provide excellent customer service, engaging in friendly conversation with patrons when appropriate.
• • Check customer identification to ensure they meet the legal age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• • Monitor customer behavior to prevent overconsumption, and act responsibly when needed to address any issues that may arise.
• • Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage items.
• • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• • Assist in setup and breakdown of the bar area for special events as required.
• • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• • High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• • Combination of education and experience will be considered.
• • Certifications may be required or preferred.
• • Requires knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience
• • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• • Has 2 to 3 years of work experience
