Pharmacy Technician

Summary

The National Health Fund is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Process orders from Providers
• Perform data entry operations and ensure proper and prompt update of all spreadsheets and databases
• Maintain register of Providers and PPP Pharmacies with current location and contact information
• Document and report to the Senior Provider Relations Officer all complaints/issues encountered for prompt resolution
• Perform any other duties to support the general Provider Relations process.

Required Skills

• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Computer literate with working knowledge of pharmacy software.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) subjects at the CXC/GCE Level including Mathematics, English Language and a Science subject.
• Possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate/Diploma from a recognized institution.
• Experience in customer service would be an asset
