Quality Officer
Summary
Support the Quality Department to: 🏷️ ✅ Plan, implement, and monitor quality procedures and activities. ✅ Coordinate the document review process. ✅ Take corrective actions when necessary. ✅ Foster and enable a quality culture at the facility.

Responsibilities
- • Assist with the creation of documentation for all the processes affiliated with the Facey’s Consumer Division
- • Implement and maintain Document control for the pertinent processes within the Division
- • Assist process owners with the development and execution plan for the documented processes.
- • Maintain and monitor the implemented Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices at the facilities.
- • Assist with the execution of the training sessions to ensure all the personnel within the facility are aware of Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices.
- • Manages the CAPA program at the Distribution Centers
- • Track, monitor and prepare reports related to specific Quality KPI’s within the facility.
- • Execute and analyze the root cause of QMS breaches through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- • Participate in Recall (inclusive of mock recall) activities for products distributed and assist with downstream traceability exercises for the other subsidiaries.
- • Assisting with the development and execution of Food Safety Plan at the facilities
- • Provide support in the planning and execution of Quality-related training activities ( Documentation, Customer Complaint Handling , Risk Management, Procees based approach) .
- • Assisting with Implementing quality culture e.g update qualiy KPIs , provide signs , active communication with staff as it relates to quality , identifying quality focused activities )
- • Monitors customer complaints and the investigations protocols until resolved.
- • Coordinates the Hold and Release program at the facility
- • Monitors and report on near-dated goods in a timely manner with Seprod-affiliated subsidaries.
- • Participate in projects aimed at continuous improvement of the operations at the Facey Consumer Division.
Qualifications
- • Tertiary Level Education in Food Science, Quality Management or related field.
- • Training in HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and/or FSSC 22000
- • Minimum two (2) years working experience in a food distribution environment.
