
Audit Supervisor
Summary
The Audit Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Assistant Audit Manager in the provision of supervision, guidance, and training and development of an audit team on specific assignments. This includes planning and scoping audit assignments, supervising the work of seniors and other staff members on audit assignments, providing guidance, coaching and counseling, and technical assistance to ensure the achievement of high levels of service to clients in group engagement portfolios.
Responsibilities
- • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
- • Professional Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA, FCCA
- • 5+ years in external auditing experience with at least 1 being at the managerial level.
Required Skills
- • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including International Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards in Auditing (ISAs)
- • Statistical Knowledge for Analysis and Problem Solving
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- • Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- • Has problem-solving and analytical skills.
- • Ability to work individually and handle self-driven projects efficiently.
- • Ability to establish good relations with all levels of employees
- • Possess negotiation and persuading skills
- • Conversant with report writing, business procedures, and correspondence
- • Demonstrated ethical behavior in the performance of the job
