
Talent Acquisition and Policy Development Officer
Summary
Support the execution of the Talent Acquisition & People Development unit’s functions, particularly those relating to the recruitment process and the reviewing and development of policies.
Responsibilities
- • Support the recruitment process of the unit by conducting functions relating to the entirety of the recruitment process; including, but not limited to, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews and preparing job offers for selected candidates.
- • Ensure timely communication with candidates regarding offer details and their role in the recruitment process.
- • Assist with reviewing and updating existing HR policies.
- • Assist with the development of new HR policies.
- • Ensure that all policies are compliant, relevant and aligned with the organization’s needs.
- • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
Required Skills
- • Sound knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
- • Strong human relations skills and ability to interact with personnel at all organizational levels.
- • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally.
- • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- • High level of accuracy.
- • High proficiency in the use of computer software packages such as word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and Internet applications.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or Management Studies, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized tertiary institution.
- • At least three (3) years’ working experience in Human Resources.
