Treasury Analyst
Summary
The GraceKennedy Group seeks to identify an individual looking for an excellent opportunity to progress his/her career; and who possesses the vision and energy to help drive dynamic changes across the group, in the following capacity:- TREASURY ANALYST
Responsibilities
- • Execute intercompany transactions
- • Execute and manage FX trading strategy toward achieving the annual budget.
- • Lead the settlement of treasury transactions daily, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- • Record daily treasury transactions.
- • Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries,
- • Manage the bi-weekly reconciliation of treasury bank accounts, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- • Assist in executing borrowing and investment decisions
- • Monitor and optimize working capital activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- • Prepare and analyze daily cash flow statements, implementing related transactions and ensuring effective cash management.
- • Conduct in-depth financial and other analyses on a periodic basis, presenting findings to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- • Perform the necessary transfer of funds between bank accounts and downloading of bank balances each day.
Required Skills
- • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
- • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- • Good communication skills
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, software applications, data gathering, statistical analysis, report preparation, presentation and communication.
Qualifications
- • B.Sc. degree or professional qualifications in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- • Minimum two (2) years in accounting, finance, banking or related field
