
Accountant Analyst
Summary
The Accountant Analyst will work with management in developing budget targets, forecasts and conduct analysis to aid in decision making. Prepare monthly management accounts through the timely processing of transactions and ensure that all regulatory, statutory and Corporation taxes are paid and filed on time.
Responsibilities
- • Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned portfolio with first draft of the financial statements management accounts by the end of the 3rd working day of each month and the final by the 4th working day of each month
- • Prepare general/recurring journal vouchers and debit notes
- • Prepare and submit schedules and reports required for the preparation of General Consumption Tax/Corporation Tax returns (as applicable)
- • Assist with the annual budgeting process
- • Ensure that control accounts are reconciled with sub-ledger
- • Prepare monthly external audit schedules
- • Maintenance of accruals schedules
- • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly consolidation packages (as applicable)
- • Completion of Accountant’s checklist for portfolio entities ensuring items are investigated and cleared within 90 days
- • Identify financial risks, opportunities and process improvements and make recommendations to senior management for corrective actions.
- • Assist in development of strategies to promote continuous process improvements in finance.
Ensure proper reporting and analysis of the performance of the digital products:
- • Conduct ad hoc projects and analysis as required.

- • Strong analytical and modeling skills are needed, together with ability to present reports and recommendations confidently to senior managers.
- • Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- • In-depth proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
- • Thorough knowledge of financial principles and techniques.
- • Strong working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- • ACCA Level II
- • At least two years relevant experience
