Logistics Coordinator
Summary
This role involves ensuring the efficient and seamless clearance of goods from the wharf. Responsibilities include preparing all necessary customs forms, such as the C-78 Electronic Transfer, and verifying that all required import permits are secured before the goods arrive. Additionally, the position requires coordinating with Customs Brokers, truckers, and department personnel to ensure timely clearance of imported shipments. Additional Information: Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
Responsibilities
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships
- • Processing all import entries, including record maintenance.
- • Process, record and file all Import Entries and related documents.
- • Prepare charges for payments for import/export activities.
- • Prepare all required permits ahead of time
- • Complete wharfage documents and transaction for speedy clearing of shipments
- • Coordinate wharfage activities with Customs Broker, truckers and department personnel for timely clearance of imported shipments.
- • Timely update of import tracking spreadsheet in Teams
- • Assist with the plant’s annual inventory count.
- • Be knowledgeable about other departmental responsibilities and undertake additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- • Have at least an associates degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- • Must have two (2) years experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Have at least an bachelors degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
