Summary

The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a qualified professional of sound character and integrity, solution-oriented, meticulous and reliable, to fill the position of Accounting Clerk. The selected individual will be responsible for invoicing journals for truckers’ payments, processing debit/credit card payments and balancing and reconciling inventory and sales invoices for assigned trucks.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
• Experience in the use of computerized accounting systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access and Excel applications.
• Excellent communication and human relation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• High degree of accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Level 2 certification or a First Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
• At least two (2) years’ related work experience in the field of Accounting.
