Maintenance Manager

Summary

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep of the operations at our company’s facilities. Your duties will include maintaining refrigeration, machinery, planning repair activities and preventative maintenance programs along with developing maintenance standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• • Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program
• • Supervising maintenance staff and contractors
• • Training team members
• • Creating and managing the maintenance budget
• • Monitoring equipment performance
• • Ensuring compliance with regulations
• • Developing and updating SOPs
• • Providing regular reports
• • Managing the Preventative Maintenance Program
• • Managing the Building Maintenance Program
• • Assisting with developing and implementing safety programs
• • Any other duties assigned

Required Skills

• • Strong technical skills, with experience working with both freon and ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• • Strong knowledge of OSHA, and other relevant regulations and standards.
• • Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and other computer programs.
• • Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration maintenance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
