Lifeguard

Summary

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants at recreational areas such as pools, beaches, water parks or ski slopes. Your primary tasks will be to monitor activities, provide assistance when needed, and enforce safety regulations to create a secure and enjoyable environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• • Supervise and monitor recreational areas to ensure the safety of all participants.
• • Enforce facility rules and safety regulations to create a secure environment.
• • Provide timely assistance and rescue to those in need.
• • Administer first aid and CPR/AED as necessary.
• • Maintain guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving any concerns or complaints.
• • Perform daily safety checks and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• • Attend required training sessions and maintain certifications.
• • Collaborate with other lifeguards and facility staff to maintain safety standards.
• • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • • High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Certifications:

  • • Certifications may be required or preferred

• Work Experience:

  • • Utilizes knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience
  • • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
  • • Has 2 to 3 years of work experience
