Settlement and Reconciliation Officer

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Settlement & Reconciliation Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the achievement of total receivables for the Van Sales Unit of GFS, WBS and CBL

• • Daily settlement of Van Sales Representatives
• • Daily ASKI payment reports reconcile with SAP
• • Print aggregate sales orders and payment receipts done via ASKI
• • Verify that total receipts match monies collected and that all payments from ASKI are uploaded to SAP
• • Ensure that all posting are updated in General Ledger and cleared
• • Liaise with Van Sales Representatives/ Managers on a regular basis to collect monies due/outstanding.
• • Daily settlements and lodgments
• • Reconciliation of Receivables Accounts

Qualifications

• • Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• • Be fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel
• • Knowledge of SAP Software would be an asset
• • Previous experience in a credit and collections environment would be an asset
