Responsibilities

• • Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
• • Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide assistance as needed.
• • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• • Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when necessary.
• • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including payment processing and cash handling protocols.

Required Skills

• • Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment.
• • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or equivalent.
• • Four CSEC subjects or equivalent inclusive of math.
