Summary

Under the general direction of the Procurement/Office Manager, the Customer Care Officer is required to serve internal and external customers, by providing relevant information, and to welcome and direct clients to the relevant desks officers. đź’° salary range $1,439,455 - $1,935,907 per annum and any allowance(s) attached to the post.

Responsibilities

  • • Provides accurate and timely information/direction to customers, in accordance with the Access to Information Act and the Customer Service Charter;
  • • Greets, receives and serves customers, in accordance with the Customer Service Charter;
  • • Receives and ascertains nature of calls, and responds to enquiries or complaints, or transfers to relevant desk officers, as necessary, in accordance with the Customer Service Charter;
  • • Receives and dispatches mail to Registrar/desk officers;
  • • Monitors Interview Schedules and seats interviewees;
  • • Investigates, gathers information/complaints and escalates to supervisor/desk officers for resolution;
  • • Logs and tracks all customer complaints and status on the database;
  • • Directs walk-in customers to the appropriate officers, as necessary;
  • • Prepares daily and weekly reports, along with any other reports or information that may be required with respect to Customer Service, including customer feedback;
  • • Performs any other duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills

  • • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • • Good knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • • Good oral and written communication skills
  • • Good time management and organizing skills

Qualifications

  • • Four (4) CSEC/GCE O’Level subjects, inclusive of English Language and a numeric subject;
  • • Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration from an accredited tertiary institution;
  • • Two (2) years’ related work experience.
