Fitness Instructor

Summary

As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for providing a memorable experience for guests. Your primary focus will be performing various duties, scheduling facility use, and maintaining and providing equipment for sporting events or recreational pursuits.

Responsibilities

• • Perform a range of attending duties at our recreation facility, ensuring efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
• • Schedule the use of recreation facilities, coordinating bookings and managing availability to maximize utilization.
• • Maintain and provide equipment for various events or recreational pursuits, ensuring the equipment is safe and properly stored when not in use.
• • Operate concessions and events, adhering to safety procedures and providing exceptional customer service.
• • Act as a lead, coordinating the work of team members, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• • Maintain a clean and well-organized facility, enforcing facility policies and regulations as needed.
• • Address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and efficiently, providing a memorable experience for facility guests.
• • Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • • High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Certifications:

  • • Certifications may be required or preferred.

• Work Experience:

  • • Requires expertise in a variety of work processes through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • • Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others but not a supervisor
  • • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
  • • Has 4 to 5 years of work experience
