
Special Services Coordinator (GMG/AM 2)
Summary
To coordinate administrative management activities for Special Medical and Public Health Services and the Emergency Medical Services for public gatherings and during times of disaster and provide liaison between the Director and other Officers in EDMSSB 💰Salary: $1,711,060 JMD per annum
Responsibilities
- • Emergency equipment and supplies for the Emergency, Disaster Management and Special Services Branch and the Ministry of Health, National Emergency Operations Centre (MOH EOC) inventories maintained.
- • Perform role as administrator and/or Emergency Medical Technician during event or part of the Humanitarian Relief during times of disaster, locally or as a part of GOJ Relief team to neighbouring states.
- • Process request for health and medical coverage of special events (State, Official and Private)
- • Prepare Reports (post event, monthly, annual)
- • Conducting stock-taking exercises annually
- • Manages custody of Medical Records of patient seen at medical post
- • Manages custody of Sundries, Drugs and Pharmaceuticals used in Special Events
Qualifications
- • Minimum requirements for entrance to the Public Service
- • Emergency Medical Technician – Basic
- • Certificate/Diploma in Management Studies, Public Administration or Equivalent
- • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in an administrative capacity;
- • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
