Responsibilities

• • Overseeing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• • Preparing accurate financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• • Managing month-end and year-end closings with precision and timeliness.
• • Participating in tax audits, payroll verifications, and compliance initiatives.
• • Monitoring the performance of the accounting department and supporting team objectives.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
• • Accounting certification (e.g. ACCA or CPA) is an asset.
• • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role or a similar capacity.
• • Experience using accounting software (e.g. Great Plains) along with strong computer skills, MS Suite - Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
• • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• • Proven ability to prepare financial statements aligned with IFRS standards.
