Summary

JP Tropical Foods Limited, a subsidiary of Pan Jamaica Group, is a diverse and fast-growing company and the nation's leading supplier of high-quality fresh produce, with export markets in the U.S.A. and the Caribbean. We are seeking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must be results-oriented and highly motivated to be part of a dynamic Commercial team, leading the sales agenda for the Northern section of the island.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the company's policies and procedures to achieve and exceed the sales team's budgeted contract and job sales monthly.
  • Support the annual sales plan by identifying growth opportunities.
  • Review monthly sales results against forecasted expectations.
  • Foster strong collaboration between Sales and Operations to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain open communication with sales staff to inform, encourage, and address issues affecting their work, customers, and the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety requirements and legislation in daily operations.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Monitor sales pricing.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
    • Promote a high-performance culture through regular meetings and feedback.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with the Commercial Manager regarding any changes that may impact current or future business operations.

Required Skills

  • Sales-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to encourage team development and drive performance improvement.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in project management, with basic financial awareness and knowledge of budgets.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • At least a first degree or certification in a related field with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
